Ingredients In Taco Bell’s Avocado Sauce

To make Taco Bell’s avocado ranch sauce, you’ll need:.

  • ⅓ cup of sour cream/ greek yogurt.
  • ¼ cup of buttermilk.
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and diced
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 lemon juice wedge (about 2 tablespoons)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¾ teaspoon Kosher salt

Avocado Ranch Sauce Directions

You won't have a lot of dishes to wash because this recipe is completely created in a food processor. So you need a knife, a rubber spatula, and a food processor or blender! Then, to make this delicious sauce, follow these steps:

Blend

The first thing is to start with the blender. Combine the sour cream, buttermilk, pepper, avocado, almond milk, lime juice, and garlic powder in the blender until it is smooth and creamy. If you want to add salt or additional flavors to your sauce, this is the time to do it! Add a pinch of salt if needed, and process until smooth.

Scrape and Combine

Pause the blender and scrape down the sides with a spatula, if necessary (depending on how big your avocado is), until everything is well combined.

Store and Chill

After everything is well combined, pour the mixture into a glass jar or sealed plastic container and pop it into your refrigerator for at least an hour. This avocado ranch sauce is perfect if you want to recreate some of your favorite Taco Bell meals!

Serve and Enjoy!

You can enjoy this sauce with your favorite Taco Bell recipes or on top of a salad dressing or other Mexican dish. It is mainly used as a sauce for burritos, tacos, or quesadillas or as a dip for chips, stirring before serving.

You can tweak the taste of the sauce by adding red pepper flakes if you like it spicier. You can also add vegan yogurt instead of sour cream to make it vegan. This deliciously creamy avocado ranch sauce homemade version is the perfect topping for dishes.
